St John of God Berwick Hospital is a 70 bed modern private hospital owned and operated by St John of God Health Care; Australia's largest Catholic not-for-profit private healthcare group. Residents of Casey and Cardinia need not look beyond us for their healthcare needs. In 2010 and 2011 we received the Medibank Private State Silver award as voted by Medibank Private patients.

We have been providing healthcare services to Berwick and surrounding suburbs for over 70 years and we are currently planning our next stage of redevelopment to ensure we continue to meet the healthcare needs of our community in the future.

Our current services include a full range of day and overnight surgery via our state of the art operating theatres. We also have a medical unit for people unwell as a result of illness that does not require surgery and a full range of obstetrics services for couples who are starting a new family or adding another member to an existing family.

We also have an onsite Pharmacy, Radiology Services, Pathology Laboratory and Medical Consulting Suites to ensure that with respect of healthcare needs - "We have it Covered"

Our services are available to patients with Private Health Insurance, Self Insured, TAC and Workcover. We are a Tier 1 provider of hospital services to the Veteran community.

See you GP and discuss your symptoms. They will determine if our team can assist you and can organise a referral to an Orthopaedic Surgeon.
